Push ups definitely have the love/hate relationship going on!  

They’re hated because they’re hard!! But - they’re loved because they are so effective!!


Push ups are beneficial for building upper body strength. They work the triceps, pectoral muscles (chest), shoulders and even the quadriceps. When done with proper form, they can also strengthen the lower back and core by engaging (pulling in) the abdominal muscles. Pushups are a fast and effective exercise for building strength.


Push ups are also a great cardio move as they are a compound exercise, working multiple muscle groups at the same time. More muscle engagement means more calories burned!


Over the next 21 days, we’ll be sharing a bunch of tools that I’m using to teach proper form, alignment and engagement of all the required muscles. We’re not just doing push ups for the 21 days. We’ve got squats, planks, triceps dips, and so much more! All to help us improve our push ups.  


There’s even a weekly challenge where we can track our push up progression! I love seeing PROGRESS!! Progress is powerful - and super motivating. So we wanted to have trackable mini-challenges built into this challenge. Be watching for those days.
